Finally i finished to read the novel "The Forbidden Floor" written by the french writer Caroline Savuageot.
First of all i want to say some general words about the novel. Honestly one day (in 2008 year) i was too bored and i was sitting without anything to do and suddenly the idea to write a little novel came to me. Then i was searching for the main theme of the novel and decided to create a story about the young famous band called "The Blizzard" (yes, the idea of the novel is based on Tokio Hotel and all the characters are created from the real people). But i have to say i've lost inspiration and the novel wasn't finished, it's written just 1/5 part of the whole story.
Well, that was prelude, but this is the reason why i was interested with the novel called "The Forbidden Floor". That was very curious to compare my view of Bill, Tom, Georg & Gustav with the Caroline's.
Okay and now about my opinion about "The Forbidden Floor".
First of all i need to say i like the way the name sounds. It makes secret atmosphere in advance. It's like it wants to say us "be careful, there will be moments you even can't see in your life, and i want to show you the life which is hidden from the others".
I liked the fact the novel has 2 ways of showing the story: from the Band's side and from the fans' side.
I have to say i absolutely liked everything about the fans! Honestly i was even a little disappointed because there weren't many parts of the fans' lives.
I was reading and laughing & smiling so hard because everything the fans were doing it's like a part of my real life. Of course i don't follow Tokio Hotel so much as the fans of EU can do because it's almost impossible for me, but everything about working for promotion, fan-club and so on - ah, i was like 'Yes, yes! You, guys, are doing it great!'
I found all the characters of the Band in the novel are very similar to mine :) Especially Georg, Gustav & Tom. I think it's because i used to think they're the guys like i see them. I mean it's like there are some general views we can describe them, hah.
I liked some fans from "TFF": Jennifer, Sesilia & Meynon (i'm not sure i wrote the names correctly).
Jennifer - for her professional interest & adequacy, Sesilia - for her supporting the band and working for fan-club and Meynon - for her story of living with the band, but being shy and kind.
The one character i didn't like at all is Anais Paris.
I'm pretty sure the author was creating this character to be loved, but as for me the one feeling that Anais brings to me is disgust.
Maybe you say it's because of jealousy, no, i like Tom (/Theo/), so this is not a reason.
I don't like Anais because i can't understand is she good or is she bad?
I don't like she's acting like she's the only one in the world.
I don't like the way she shows "i get everything because i'm a daughter of the rock-star".
I don't like she's acting like she wants to forbid Liam to have a chance with the other girl. Why the f*ck she thinks she's the best girl for him?! Haha, sorry for this phrase, but i see it this way. She's trying to hide Liam behind her, she wants him to belong to her, she's acting so annoying that when she's with Liam he becomes very ugly about the Band and i really don't like it.
And especially i don't like the way she's about the fans of the Band. She ignores them and it's like she thinks she needn't to be worried about Liam will fall in love with the other girl because she thinks she's ideal and no one can be compared to her.
Yes, this is what i see in this character!
But well i think it's great to create such characters which make us "feel" them. This is great when we have reaction about them because when it touches us it prooves the story is "alive".
I reccomend Tokio Hotel fans to read "The Forbidden Floor" because there you'll find some very interesting details and even more maybe you'll recognize yourselves, haha!
